The Department of Mathematics was started with Pre-degree course a quarter-century back in 1981. With the bifurcation of the Pre- Degree course from colleges, Mathematics has been taught as a subsidiary subject in B.Sc Physics and B.Sc Chemistry. We are conducting seminars, group discussions and quiz competitions for improving the quality of education. Every year the department conducts remedial classes for the SC/ST students.
